No. We clean at roughly 40 PSI, not thousands. The system removes organic growth gently and safely, avoiding granule loss, blown seals, or water intrusions associated with high pressure.
Pressure washing blasts the surface (and can drive water where it shouldn’t go). Soft washing uses low pressure plus targeted, 100% biodegradable solutions that kill the root of moss, algae, and lichen for a longer-lasting clean.
Yes. We pre-wet and protect vegetation, apply the solution carefully, and thoroughly rinse. Once dry, pets can return to treated areas.
Typically 4–6× longer than traditional pressure washing. Many homeowners enjoy a clean roof/siding for several seasons before light maintenance is needed.
We treat and detach live growth at the root. Some deeply embedded moss may weather off over days to weeks; that’s normal. Most roof cleanings include a 5–Year Limited Warranty against regrowth (ask if your roof qualifies).
Those are usually algae (Gloeocapsa magma). Soft washing eliminates it safely without abrasion.
Light rain is fine and can aid rinsing. For heavy rain or high winds, we reschedule for the best results and safety.
